We are dedicated to expanding the cyber security ecosystem through skills development, research and innovation, bringing value to the industry as a whole.

Cyber Security Community
The Yorkshire Cyber Security Cluster brings together professionals, students, academics and the Government to nurture our cyber security community and build the local cyber ecosystem.
Strategy
Our goal is to highlight the growing need for society to adopt secure behaviours, and highlight the benefits of working collaboratively in the cyber security community. We host events, provide educational resources and conduct research into the region’s cyber landscape.

As part of the UK Cyber Security Forum, we are committed to providing opportunities for growth and collaboration to develop future cyber talent throughout Yorkshire. We frequently partner with local educational institutions, businesses and local governments to host events and provide career opportunities.
Industry leaders
Together with the regions’ leading industry professionals, the Yorkshire Cyber Security Cluster provides a platform to share ideas and best practices. As a thought leader in this community, we share opportunities, industry updates and support national and international cyber security initiatives.

Our Knowledge Bank is full of educational resources for all skill levels, written by industry professionals with a passion for cyber security.
Research and Innovation
A core component of this will be researching, analysing and mapping national and regional cyber security skills programmes; including evaluating the funding of these programmes.
School Learners Outreach
We pay particularly close attention to the career pathways available to students when they leave education, to assist in their transition into the industry.
