Our Purpose

A Cyber Cluster is an informal network of people and organisations who work in, or have an interest in cyber security.

We help cyber companies grow by communicating initiatives and trade opportunities while providing a networking platform to share ideas and best practice, encourage collaboration and identifying partnership opportunities.

YCSC is a not-for-profit organisation whose work forms a key deliverable of the National Cyber Strategy.

Anya Bridges Project Manager at Bob's Business

‘I joined the YCSC in September 2020 when I started my career in cyber security as a way to build my network in the local community, since then I have met some amazing professionals who have helped me develop in the industry, been involved in various projects and even been given opportunities to give back to the local community by attending school engagement days and careers fairs.’

Mike Hudson Cyber Security Manager at Arco

‘I joined YCSC after attending my first event at Asda House in Leeds back in 2019. I found the network of professionals to be welcoming, and the speakers to be very informative. I found it reassuring to hear our company experience similar challenges to others in the retail sector. I was hooked! I wanted to hear more around how my peers overcame the challenges I faced!
